For the launch of the Nike MAG and the ‘Back For The Future’ episode, Nike commissioned four artists to create original movie posters. Brent Rollins, Kate Gibb, La Boca and Will Sweeny each provided a poster for the series.
This week, we’re able to show you a selection of apparel within the adidas Originals collaboration with Burton, designed by Kazuki Kuraishi, who was previously the mastermind behind the adidas Originals by Originals kzk range. With the Frankfurt Auto Show in full swing this week, there’s been an abundance of new 2012 models and concept cars leaking from all the big names. We’re doing our best to filter through and show you only the best of the best such as the new Lamborghini Gallardo, Audi RS 5 and Jaguar CX-16.
Outside of the sports car category our highlight thus far is definitely the Maserati Kubang. Using the backbone of the new Jeep Grand Cherokee (which also serves as the guts of the new Mercedes-Benz M-Class) the Kubang SUV is stunning, drawing lines from the GranTurismo and Quattroporte with plenty of sloping curves and luxury style. Under the hood, an 8-speed automatic transmission and V8 engine keeps thing moving.
Exciting news are coming from Jaguar right before Frankfurt Auto Show. They will be revealing the new CX-16 Concept, a two seater that will compete in the smaller Porsche Cayman class, meaning it will be more affordable than the 911 class.
It will come with a 3.0 liter, 375 horsepower V6 engine. Supplementing this is an electric motor producing up to 94HP, available to the driver at the push of a steering-wheel boost button. Allied to an eight-speed gearbox and mounted in a lightweight aluminum chassis this allows the C-X16 to sprint to 62 mph (100 kmh) in 4.4 seconds. The interior showcases interesting future technologies such as multimodal rotary controls that incorporate miniature OLED screens, which reconfigure to reflect the different functions that can be performed via the controls, all of which are designed for maximum compatibility between sports car needs and everyday usability. Let’s just hope that some of these incredible features will actually make it into the final production model.

“Enclosed is our third look for the Cinelli MASH Bolt series. This frameset marks the return of the original Bolt geometry— preferred by some of our long distance riders and racers for its more comfortable approach. Built with the same solid Columbus Airplane construction and finished with a tonal silver top coat. The graphic palette draws its inspiration from historical Cinelli colors brought forward onto a modern street racer.”
